Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Yuntlee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Titan Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nick Yuntlee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Titan Reyes!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Yuntlee but Yuntlee pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Reyes looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Yuntlee shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Reyes's guard.

Yuntlee drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Reyes dives on top into guard.
Yuntlee wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Yuntlee looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Reyes wants to control from the top but Yuntlee keeps moving.

Yuntlee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reyes on the ground.

Yuntlee lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Reyes!

Yuntlee has control of Reyes's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Reyes regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Yuntlee is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Reyes has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Reyes!

Reyes is fighting to break Yuntlee's control of his arms but Yuntlee is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Yuntlee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reyes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Yuntlee drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Yuntlee has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Yuntlee buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Yuntlee darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Yuntlee is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Reyes!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Yuntlee takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Yuntlee wants to pass to mount but Reyes is defending the position.
Yuntlee is looking to take a break and control but Reyes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Yuntlee lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Yuntlee is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Reyes sees it coming and defends easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Yuntlee throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Reyes was covering up waiting for the punch and Yuntlee finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Yuntlee drops back looking for a leg! Reyes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Reyes manages to kick Yuntlee off! Yuntlee jumps back into Reyes's guard.

Yuntlee has gone for a leg lock! Reyes slips out almost immediately though and dives into Yuntlee's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Reyes wants to pass the guard but Yuntlee is keeping the position.
Yuntlee seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Reyes working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Yuntlee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Reyes is looking to control Yuntlee's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Reyes avoid being mounted?

Yuntlee has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Yuntlee is keen to just control but Reyes is a slippery customer.
Reyes pushes Yuntlee off looking to stand but Yuntlee dives back in and keeps control.
Reyes is looking to improve his position.
