Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, The Dragon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, William McGregor!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragon checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
McGregor has closed the distance and engaged Dragon in a clinch.
McGregor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McGregor tries to clinch there but Dragon circles away.
Nice takedown defense from McGregor. No joy for Dragon on that attempt.
McGregor waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dragon.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
McGregor moves out of range of the body kick from Dragon.
Dragon shoots in for a takedown but McGregor shows good takedown defense.
McGregor throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McGregor tries to clinch but Dragon is having none of it.
Dragon keeps the fight on the outside.
The fight stays on the outside here - McGregor looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dragon moves in looking to clinch but McGregor pushes him off.
McGregor throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dragon fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for The Dragon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McGregor closes the distance and clinches.
Dragon wants a takedown but no success here.
Dragon is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Dragon wants to break free but McGregor has control.
McGregor has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dragon is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
McGregor escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
McGregor throws a solid leg kick but Dragon takes the impact on his shin and smiles at McGregor.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dragon tries to clinch up but McGregor circles away and keeps his distance.
Dragon lands a body shot.
McGregor throws out a loose jab but Dragon uses good head movement to avoid it.
McGregor scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like The Dragon has been cut.
Dragon fails to land the takedown.
McGregor takes one to the side of the head.
McGregor is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Dragon hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
