1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jin Lee Yan Kim! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sato tries to clinch up but Lee Yan Kim circles away and keeps his distance. Lee Yan Kim looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Sato tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lee Yan Kim swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sato wants to clinch. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sato walks away with a smile on his face. Lee Yan Kim gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Takashi Sato has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jin Lee Yan Kim. Sato wants to clinch up but Lee Yan Kim keeps it at a distance. Sato tries to clinch up and Lee Yan Kim counters with a single leg into guard. Sato didn't expect that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sato is pulling down on Lee Yan Kim's head to control his posture. Lee Yan Kim drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sato dives on top into guard. Sato has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The fight stays on the outside here - Sato looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Sato tries to clinch up but Lee Yan Kim circles away and keeps his distance. Takashi Sato is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sato darts in trying to clinch so Lee Yan Kim counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sato is looking to stand up but Lee Yan Kim isn't so interested in that idea. Lee Yan Kim stands up from guard. Let's bang! Sato tries to clinch up and Lee Yan Kim counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sato won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lee Yan Kim is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sato knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Sato tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Lee Yan Kim cranks the arm and Sato screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Sato, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
