Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Valdez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Koscheck!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valdez dodges the punch combination from Koscheck.
Josh Koscheck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Koscheck lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Koscheck closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Valdez tries to improve position but can't.
Koscheck wants to stand but Valdez has his arm trapped.

Koscheck is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Valdez knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
