Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between m ajian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mareike Murmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mareike Murmann will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by ajian.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Murmann is pushing ajian's head away, looking to escape. ajian manages to hold on to the position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
ajian throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Murmann is fighting off a takedown attempt but ajian is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Murmann to the mat. Murmann regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

ajian's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
