Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Longfellow Deeds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Croc Odile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deeds comes to the cage accompanied by Evils Deeds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Longfellow Deeds! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Croc Odile! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Odile. Odile throws a nice looking combination but Deeds bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Excellent takedown into side control there by Odile. Deeds tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Odile wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Deeds dodges the ground and pound from Odile. Deeds struggling a bit here. Deeds is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Odile really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Deeds. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Deeds gets back to half guard. Odile throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Odile misses with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Deeds tries for a takedown but Odile circles away easily and Odile counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Deeds keeping full guard, as Odile tries to pass. Odile wants to control from the top but Deeds keeps moving. Odile is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Deeds has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Odile is looking to defend but Deeds has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Odile! Deeds pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Odile taps out and this one is all over!
