Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Akio Takada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Dillon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Takada comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - All Nightmare Long. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takada uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dillon.
Dillon throws a hook but Takada avoids it easily.
Dillon looks to land a combination but Takada avoids it well.
Takada connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dillon. Dillon circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Takada drives through with a takedown into guard.
Takada wants to control from the top but Dillon keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Dillon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Dillon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Takada lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Dillon looks gassed!

Dillon throws a shot from downtown. Takada moves away and avoids it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Takada lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
