Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Takayuki Tensei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigues Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigues Xavier will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodrigues Xavier!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tensei thows a left - swing and a miss!
Tensei misses with a head kick.
Xavier wants to clinch up but Tensei keeps it at a distance.
Horrible takedown by Xavier or perhaps it was just good defense by Tensei which made him look bad.
Tensei takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Xavier drops Tensei with a left and a right! Oh, Tensei is hurt - Xavier dives into side control looking to finish!
Tensei is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tensei tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Xavier wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Oh Tensei is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Xavier decides to stand up, so the ref orders Tensei to his feet.
Tensei tries to close the distance and clinch up but Xavier swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rodrigues Xavier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Xavier engages and cracks Tensei with a massive lead left hook - Tensei tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Xavier is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rodrigues Xavier!
