Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Killem Quick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Easton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quick comes into the arena with Ready, Able blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brad Easton! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Easton misses with a body shot.
Quick fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Quick really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Easton moves forwards but Quick connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Brad Easton has been cut. Easton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Easton wants to clinch up but Quick keeps it at a distance. Quick thows a left - swing and a miss! Quick pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Quick shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Easton throws a push kick but Quick slaps the foot to one side. Quick throws a hook but Easton blocks it. Quick lands with a hook. Easton tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Easton ducks under a wild hook from Quick. Quick throws a predictable looking body shot
and Easton counters by moving into the clinch. Quick taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Quick escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fight stays on the outside here - Easton looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Easton keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Quick is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Easton closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Easton ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Quick looks to score with a jab to the body but Easton is just out of range. Nice defenses there by Easton. Quick throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. The fighters circling - Quick throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Quick shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Quick won't allow Easton to sweep him here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Quick is thwarting Easton's attempts to control the position.
