Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ahmed Mohammed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manuel Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios takes a swing at Mohammed's ribcage but misses.
Mohammed misses with a body shot.
Mohammed throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mohammed moves out of range as Rios strikes.
Rios tries to clinch but Mohammed is having none of it.
Mohammed looks to land a combination. Rios sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Mohammed ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Mohammed's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Rios lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Mohammed hang on?

Mohammed bucks up and throws Rios to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

Mohammed scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Rios manages to mount him!

Rios closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mohammed has hold of Rios's hands but Rios slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rios gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rios tries to clinch up but Mohammed circles away and keeps his distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Mohammed connects with a right hand. Rios shakes it off.
Mohammed slaps away a takedown attempt from Rios, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mohammed throws a right and a left that Rios avoids nicely.
Rios lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Mohammed rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rios moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Mohammed goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Ahmed Mohammed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rios lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mohammed circles away quickly and effectively.
Mohammed misses with a body shot
so Rios counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Rios wants to control from the top but Mohammed keeps moving.
Rios might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mohammed kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rios gets to his feet. Mohammed looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Rios drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Rios is standing up over Mohammed. Mohammed looks to escape but Rios dives into side control.

Rios is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mohammed is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Rios wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mohammed, who protects the arm well.

Rios decides to stand back up. Rios steps back and let's Mohammed get back to his feet.
Mohammed misses with a series of wild punches.
Rios misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rios lands a jab-cross combination.
Rios on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Mohammed leaves Rios with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Mohammed stalks Rios and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rios's face. Rios staggers backwards, shaken.

Rios connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Mohammed looks to land a combination but Rios avoids it well.

Manuel Rios showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Mohammed's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Rios moves into the clinch.

Mohammed stops a takedown attempt from Rios.
Rios will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Mohammed up against the cage.
Mohammed is working for takedown but Rios is calmly controlling the position for now.

Rios drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mohammed pulls his leg out and moves away.

and Rios counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mohammed won't be happy with that.
Mohammed is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Rios has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Rios working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Mohammed pushes Rios away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Rios gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Rios is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Mohammed lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Mohammed tries to keep at a distance but Rios has taken the fight into the clinch.

Rios has clasped his hands together around Mohammed's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Manuel Rios comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Rios winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
