Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dominique Richardson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonah Roncesvalles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richardson has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Jonah Roncesvalles will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richardson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Roncesvalles shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Richardson's guard.
Roncesvalles trying to control but Richardson is working from the bottom.
Roncesvalles drops back looking for a leg! Richardson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Richardson manages to kick Roncesvalles off! Roncesvalles jumps back into Richardson's guard.
Roncesvalles has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Richardson is proving hard to escape from.
Roncesvalles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Richardson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Richardson has momentary wrist control but Roncesvalles slips an elbow through the middle.
Roncesvalles stands up over Richardson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Roncesvalles might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Richardson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roncesvalles gets to his feet - Richardson follows without any prompting.

and Roncesvalles counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Roncesvalles.

Richardson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Roncesvalles avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dominique Richardson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Roncesvalles is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Richardson is aware though and is defending well.
Roncesvalles working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Richardson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Richardson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Richardson drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Richardson seems to have locked his on tight now - Roncesvalles screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Richardson, as he picks up the win!
