Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Gantrain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenshiro Hayashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gantrain comes to the cage accompanied by Animal I have Become. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gantrain misses with a straight right.
Hayashi tries a head kick but it misses.
Gantrain closes the distance and clinches up with Hayashi, looking for a takedown. Gantrain pushes Hayashi against the cage but Hayashi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hayashi throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Kevin Gantrain has been cut.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hayashi feints and then cracks Gantrain's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gantrain down.

Gantrain is taking a breather. Hayashi says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Hayashi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gantrain as he jumps to the side.
Gantrain feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Hayashi wants to stand and escape but Gantrain is having none of it.
Gantrain stands up over Hayashi, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hayashi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Gantrain controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Hayashi pushes Gantrain off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

and Hayashi makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gantrain is defended easily by Hayashi.
Hayashi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gantrain stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Both fighters circling a little - Hayashi finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Gantrain is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hayashi lands with a kick to the temple. Gantrain shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Gantrain drives through with a takedown into guard.

Gantrain missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Hayashi has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Hayashi controls Gantrain momentarily but Gantrain frees himself.
Gantrain looking to sit in guard and control but Hayashi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Hayashi decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gantrain, up you get!

Hayashi tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Hayashi working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

I would just about give that final round to Kenshiro Hayashi.
