The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffith drives through with a takedown into guard.
Griffith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Harrison on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Harrison stuffs the takedown attempt from Griffith. Griffith gets slowly back to his feet.

Griffith is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and Griffith counters with a nice body shot.
Griffith tries to clinch but Harrison is having none of it.

Harrison shoots in looking for a takedown. Griffith tries to sprawl out of it but Harrison keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Griffith manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Harrison feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

and Harrison counters with a shoot takedown. Griffith fights it but they end up in guard.

Harrison decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Griffith, up you get!
Harrison shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Harrison was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Harrison stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Forrest Griffith. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Griffith Rushes Harrison and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Harrison is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Griffith Piles on the pressure and Harrison crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
