Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steve Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geno Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Steve Aoki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Geno Martinez!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Aoki is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Martinez's half guard.

Aoki seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Martinez for as long as he can get away with.
Aoki's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Aoki stops Martinez from getting back to his feet.
Aoki is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Martinez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Aoki.
Aoki is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Aoki moves into full mount! Martinez won't be happy about that!

You get the feeling that Martinez really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Aoki sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Aoki fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Martinez is controlling an arm, preventing Aoki from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aoki tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Martinez is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Aoki has taken his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Aoki has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Martinez looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Martinez is trying to stand. He's onto all fours with Aoki on his back. Aoki looks like he's slipping off but he's actually tansitioning to a beautiful armbar! Martinez has to tap out to a very impressive submission!
