Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brown Belt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ebby Calvin LaLoosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brown Belt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ebby Calvin LaLoosh!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

LaLoosh gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
LaLoosh keeping moving, preventing Belt from controlling successfully.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now LaLoosh is on top in guard.
LaLoosh working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
LaLoosh wants to control from the top but Belt keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

LaLoosh postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Belt is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of LaLoosh, into his guard.
LaLoosh is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Belt thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

LaLoosh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Belt might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

LaLoosh working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Belt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Belt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Belt tries to free his leg and advance position but LaLoosh is retaining full guard.

LaLoosh has his foot on Belt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Belt works his way back into a safe position though.
Belt trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Belt stands and throws LaLoosh's legs to the side, diving into side control.
LaLoosh is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Belt in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Belt is looking to take a break and control but LaLoosh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Belt wants to free his trapped foot but LaLoosh is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
LaLoosh is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Belt's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Belt's back!
Belt tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Belt keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

LaLoosh is trying to take his opponent's back.

LaLoosh is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Belt has managed to escape the submission attempt.

LaLoosh is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

LaLoosh fails to move to back control.
Belt is looking to improve his position but LaLoosh isn't that keen on the idea.

LaLoosh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Belt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Belt manages to reverse the position and now he's in LaLoosh's guard. Nice work there by Belt.

Belt stands and steps away. LaLoosh gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Belt is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Belt accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Belt could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Belt gets to his feet. LaLoosh looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Horrible takedown by Belt or perhaps it was just good defense by LaLoosh which made him look bad.
Belt shoots in for a double leg but LaLoosh sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Belt.

Belt decides to stand back up.
LaLoosh tries for a takedown but Belt circles away easily

and Belt counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
LaLoosh is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Belt's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Belt's back!
Belt breaks LaLoosh's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Belt passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Brown Belt dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

LaLoosh is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

LaLoosh wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Belt, who protects the arm well.

LaLoosh tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Belt tries to lock up and control but LaLoosh gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

LaLoosh is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Belt knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Belt for a finish.

Belt drops back, looking for a kneebar! LaLoosh looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. LaLoosh looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from LaLoosh!

Belt is trying to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ebby Calvin LaLoosh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

LaLoosh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Belt swivels though and keeps the full guard.

LaLoosh wants to pass the guard but Belt is keeping the position.
Belt throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Brown Belt overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Belt fails with the takedown

and LaLoosh counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Belt looking for a sweep. Not yet Belt, not yet.
Belt is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Belt is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Belt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so LaLoosh is just riding it out for now. Belt eventually gives up the hold.

I would just about give that final round to Ebby Calvin LaLoosh.
I think LaLoosh has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
