Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Alvez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and SaioG Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alvez comes to the cage accompanied by Mama said knock you out. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sean Alvez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, SaioG Snake! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Alexandre Firmino and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snake shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Alvez looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Snake sitting and controlling from the half guard. Snake seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Snake wants to stand up but Alvez is controlling the position.
Alvez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Snake wants to lay and pray for a moment but Alvez keeps working. Snake sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Alvez defending well though. Alvez is staying active underneath Snake, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Snake lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snake stalling. Snake tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Alvez. Snake not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Snake wants to stand but Alvez has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Alvez actively working from the bottom here. Snake tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A nice combination there by Snake.
Snake forces Alvez back against the cage and clinches. Snake has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Snake jumps guard and drags Alvez to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Snake working for a triangle but Alvez defends it easily.
Snake preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Snake controls Alvez momentarily but Alvez frees himself. Alvez looking to pass the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alvez is looking to work some ground and pound but Snake has wrist control. Snake escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Alvez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Alvez looking to sit in guard and control but Snake gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Alvez manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Snake scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Snake fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Snake fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alvez tries to land a front kick but Snake steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Snake shoots in looking for a takedown. Alvez tries to sprawl out of it but Snake keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Alvez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Alvez darts in and clinches Snake up against the cage. Alvez tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Snake prevents a takedown attempt there.
Snake jumps into guard, dragging Alvez to the mat.
Alvez is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Snake has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Alvez is looking to defend but Snake has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Alvez! Snake pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Alvez taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). SaioG Snake!
