Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between kieth jarden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Polikarp Tanigin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, kieth jarden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Polikarp Tanigin! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! jarden shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. jarden pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tanigin is keeping the position for now. Tanigin keeping moving, preventing jarden from controlling successfully. Tanigin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with jarden. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. jarden postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tanigin is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of jarden, into his guard. jarden is trying to keep Tanigin in close.

That's one minute gone in the round. jarden looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tanigin is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. jarden controlling the position. Tanigin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
jarden tries to land a sweep but no joy. Tanigin trying to control the position from guard on top but jarden is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tanigin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Tanigin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in jarden's half guard. jarden manages to get to full guard.
jarden wants to stand but Tanigin is controlling the position. jarden is breathing heavily. Tanigin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. jarden swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tanigin looking to sit in guard and control but jarden gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tanigin working a defensive guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. jarden drives through with a takedown into guard. jarden slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. jarden's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. jarden trying to control the position from guard on top but Tanigin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. jarden lands a couple of digs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

jarden keeps the fight on the outside. Tanigin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. jarden closes the distance but Tanigin moves to the side and Tanigin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in jarden's guard. jarden throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
jarden looking for a guillotine here but Tanigin defends easily.
jarden keeping moving, preventing Tanigin from controlling successfully. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. jarden looking for a sweep. Not yet jarden, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. jarden pushes Tanigin off and gets back to his feet.
jarden bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Tanigin trying to remain calm as jarden controls from the top position. jarden scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Tanigin to see if he's OK. jarden connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Tanigin some visible discomfort.
You can see the frustration on Tanigin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. jarden decides to stand back up. jarden looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. jarden lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. jarden prevents Tanigin from improving his position. jarden is thwarting Tanigin's attempts to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. jarden is controlling the pace.
Tanigin trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Tanigin swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. jarden tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. jarden punishing his opponent with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. jarden cracks Tanigin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
jarden takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Tanigin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. jarden with a couple of short strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

jarden gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Tanigin pulls guard. Tanigin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst jarden is controlling him. jarden passes easily into side control. Nice work. jarden is looking to take a break and control but Tanigin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. jarden has knee on belly and moves into mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily. jarden controlling from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. jarden with the ground and pound from mount. jarden sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. jarden with good strikes from the mount here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. jarden controlling the pace for now. jarden moves to the back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. jarden looking for the choke from the back. jarden just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
The referee stands the fighters back up. kieth jarden just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Tanigin closes the distance and clinches. jarden manages to break the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - jarden looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Tanigin tries for a takedown but jarden circles away easily and jarden decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tanigin's guard. jarden trying to control the position from guard on top but Tanigin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tanigin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. jarden stands up from Tanigin's guard - jarden perhaps looking for a knockout. Tanigin fails in his attempt to clinch. jarden fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tanigin. Tanigin tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Polikarp Tanigin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! kieth jarden is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Tanigin has his takedown stuffed and jarden holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! kieth jarden showed his dominance in that final round. Well jarden has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
