Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vic Lester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Emhoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vic Lester is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vic Lester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Emhoff!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lester tries to keep at a distance but Emhoff has taken the fight into the clinch.
Emhoff prevents the takedown attempt.
Lester is trying to drag Emhoff to the mat but Emhoff just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Emhoff pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Lester has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Emhoff is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vic Lester. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Emhoff misses with a hook to the ribs.
Lester gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Emhoff.

Emhoff has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lester uses from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Emhoff avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Lester is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Emhoff is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Emhoff has escaped and now he's on top!
Emhoff wants to get up but he can't break Lester's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Emhoff wants to control from the top but Lester keeps moving.

Emhoff postures up and lands a big shot to Lester's brow.

Lester had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Emhoff defends it easily.

Lester has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Emhoff can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Emhoff slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Emhoff trying to control the position from guard on top but Lester is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Emhoff advances to half guard.

Lester is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Emhoff pulls his head out easily.
Lester wants to get back to his feet.

Emhoff is trying to work for a kimura but Lester is defending well.
Emhoff prevents Lester from standing back up.
Emhoff takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Lester is looking to get back to is feet but Emhoff passes into side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Emhoff scores with a couple of short elbows.
Lester sneaks back into half guard.
Emhoff looks gassed!

Lester works his way to full guard. Good work.
Emhoff wants to pass the guard but Lester is keeping the position.

Lester is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Lester keeping moving, preventing Emhoff from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Vic Lester will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Lester decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Lester has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Emhoff defend it? Lester steps over the head and cranks it - Emhoff is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Lester!
