The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wasabi thows a body shot but no joy.
LaCrosse throws a right hand that Wasabi ducks under and follows up with a left that Wasabi also avoids with ease.

Wasabi drops his hands momentarily and LaCrosse takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

That was a close round but I would say that Duke LaCrosse will probably get the nod.

LaCrosse throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
LaCrosse bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Wasabi's head backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

LaCrosse rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wasabi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and LaCrosse counters with a nice low kick that buckles Wasabi's knee momentarily.

LaCrosse uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wasabi.

Wasabi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by LaCrosse.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
