Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mbala Ubuntu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim McKreedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ubuntu's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hohodza. McKreedy has chosen Millions of Peaches as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKreedy is looking to clinch but Ubuntu is avoiding it.
Ubuntu tries to score a power double leg takedown but McKreedy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ubuntu somewhat.
McKreedy just misses with a punch to the body.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Ubuntu tries to keep at a distance but McKreedy has taken the fight into the clinch.
McKreedy can't get the takedown.
McKreedy with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
McKreedy wants to break the clinch but can't.
Ubuntu drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ubuntu on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Ubuntu wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mbala Ubuntu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ubuntu is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. McKreedy can't fight it off and eventually Ubuntu manages to take the fight to the floor. McKreedy looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

McKreedy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with McKreedy in particular looking to stall.

McKreedy with the ground and pound but Ubuntu uses the opportunity to regain guard.
McKreedy in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
McKreedy controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
McKreedy trying to control the position from guard on top but Ubuntu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McKreedy postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
McKreedy stopping the sweep attempt from Ubuntu.
McKreedy wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Ubuntu's closed guard. He's half up but Ubuntu has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Ubuntu pivots and extends the arm, McKreedy falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Ubuntu! Well done that man!
