Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Beltran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seppo Soturi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beltran comes to the cage accompanied by Big Poppa. Soturi has chosen Insomnium - Down With the Sun as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Max Beltran has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Max Beltran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Seppo Soturi! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soturi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Beltran swivels and escapes. Beltran throws a right and a left that both miss. Soturi looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Soturi works over Beltran with some ground and pound from guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Beltran throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Beltran controls Soturi momentarily but Soturi frees himself. Soturi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Beltran is looking for a triangle but Soturi pushes his legs off easily.
Soturi stands and steps away. Beltran gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Soturi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Beltran sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Soturi somewhat. Beltran misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beltran swinging wilding here.
Beltran misses with a few strikes there.
Beltran throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Soturi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Beltran makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Beltran. Soturi chips away with some ground and pound. Beltran is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Soturi trying to stand up but can't free himself from Beltran's guard. Beltran throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Soturi escapes and throws Beltran's legs to the side, diving into side control! Soturi grinds an elbow into Beltran's temple.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Soturi is working Beltran over with some ground and pound from side control. Beltran is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Soturi scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Beltran to see if he's OK. Beltran tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Soturi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Beltran prevents Soturi from moving into mount. Beltran takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Soturi decides to stand back up. Soturi steps back and let's Beltran get back to his feet. Soturi shoots in and bounces Beltran off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Soturi working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Soturi connects with a couple of short punches. Soturi wants to stand but Beltran is controlling his posture from full guard. Soturi lands a couple of decent looking shots. Beltran had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Soturi defends it easily. Soturi is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Beltran has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Soturi is looking to defend but Beltran has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Soturi! Beltran pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Soturi taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Max Beltran!
