Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Padilia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miami Vice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Carlos Padilia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Miami Vice! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vice keeps the fight on the outside. Padilia is looking to clinch but Vice is avoiding it.
Vice feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Vice works a leg free and moves into half guard. Vice moves into full mount! Padilia won't be happy about that! Padilia's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vice controlling from the full mount. Vice lands a heavy elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Padilia is trying to stand up. Vice misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Vice throws an elbow from mount that misses. Padilia can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Vice goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Padilia is on top in guard.
Vice pulls Padilia in close to prevent any damage. Vice wriggles free and stands up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Vice closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Padilia trying to remain calm as Vice controls from the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miami Vice dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Carlos Padilia is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Horrible takedown by Vice or perhaps it was just good defense by Padilia which made him look bad. Padilia tries to close the distance and clinch but Vice swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Vice tries to score a power double leg takedown but Padilia sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vice somewhat. Padilia fails with an attempt to clinch.

The fight stays on the outside here - Padilia looks like he's thinking about clinching though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Padilia is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Padilia tries to clinch up but Vice circles away and keeps his distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vice misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Carlos Padilia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miami Vice. No luck for Vice with that takedown attempt. Padilia wants to clinch. Padilia tries to clinch up. Vice rushes Padilia and presses him up against the cage. Vice tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Padilia smiles and moves away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Vice is pushing down on Padilia's leg trying to pass to half guard. Padilia is fighting to maintain full guard but Vice has managed to sneak the leg through. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Vice in particular looking to stall. Padilia pushes Vice off looking to stand but Vice dives back in and keeps control.
Vice frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Padilia tries to buck Vice off but he can't manage it. Vice trying to control but Padilia is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Vice connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Vice looking to finish Padilia with some ground and pound. This is bad for Padilia! Vice punching from mount but Padilia doing a good job of avoiding damage. Vice sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Vice sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Vice lands with some strikes. Padilia really wants to buck Vice off and get back to his feet. Vice controlling his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miami Vice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Padilia scores with a hook to the body. Vice takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Padilia misses with some punches.
Padilia lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Miami Vice has been cut. Padilia comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Padilia lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Vice backwards. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Padilia prevents a body shot from Vice.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vice avoids the elbow strike from Padilia, against the cage.
Padilia swings wildly with an uppercut but Vice uses good head movement to avoid it. Padilia lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Padilia lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
That has opened up Miami Vice's cut even more. Padilia digs a right hand underneath Vice's ribcage. Vice let out a lung full of air as it connected. Padilia is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Vice is keeping busy. Padilia throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Vices head. Padilia lands a left hand that snaps the head of Vice backwards. Padilia misses with a hook to the ribs.
Vice tries to break the clinch but Padilia is controlling the position. Padilia lands with a short shot to the head. A right handed body shot lands from Padilia.
Padilia working some nice short punches in the clinch. Padilia wants to break the clinch but can't.
Padilia creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Vice's defenses. Padilia throws a punch but it's blocked by Vice. Padilia avoiding damage as Vice throws knees to the body.
Vice fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Padilia tries to throw a body punch but Vice avoids it by throwing Padilia back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A left hand lands to the body for Padilia.
Padilia crunches a lovely knee into Vice's ribcage. This has been an exciting period of action! Padilia misses with a hook from the clinch. Padilia stalling in the clinch but Vice improves position. Padilia pushes Vice back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
The cut above Miami Vice's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Padilia keeps control of Vice as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Padilia doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Vice takes an elbow to the temple. Carlos Padilia has scored more points in the clinch so far. A nice glancing elbow lands by Padilia. Vice's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Padilia tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Vice counters with a shoot takedown. Padilia fights it but they end up in guard. Vice wants to control from the top but Padilia keeps moving. Vice postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vice postures up in Padilia's guard and throws a big left but Padilia blocks it. Vice trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Vice trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Vice stands and steps away. Padilia gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Padilia closes the distance looking to clinch and Vice counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Padilia! Padilia might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vice looking to control but Padilia is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Vice sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Carlos Padilia has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Miami Vice is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Padilia trying desperately to get to his feet.
