PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Psycho Tookay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and RAMPAGE JACKSON (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tookay might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Animal I Have Become. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
JACKSON wants to clinch up but Tookay keeps it at a distance.
JACKSON listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

JACKSON looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Tookay!
Tookay tries to reverse the position but JACKSON maintains control.
JACKSON has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tookay's face.
Tookay is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
JACKSON scoring with strikes but Tookay is staying in there.
Tookay slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. JACKSON lands a nice short elbow.
JACKSON is thwarting Tookay's attempts to control the position.

Tookay has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, JACKSON escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by JACKSON!
JACKSON misses with the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

JACKSON decides to stand back up. JACKSON steps back and let's Tookay get back to his feet.

Tookay gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows JACKSON to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Tookay looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Tookay has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but JACKSON can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
JACKSON trying to stand up but can't free himself from Tookay's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
JACKSON thows a big elbow that misses.

Tookay is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Tookay keeping moving, preventing JACKSON from controlling successfully.

Tookay looking for a guillotine here but JACKSON defends easily.
JACKSON tries to free his leg and advance position but Tookay is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
JACKSON is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Tookay tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

RAMPAGE JACKSON dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Tookay turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Tookay throws a sloppy head kick and JACKSON moves out of range easily.

and JACKSON counters with a shoot takedown. Tookay fights it but they end up in guard.
JACKSON must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Tookay is looking for a triangle but JACKSON pushes his legs off easily.
JACKSON wants to control from the top but Tookay keeps moving.
RAMPAGE JACKSON has got the better of the ground game so far.

JACKSON drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tookay dives on top into guard.

Tookay drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tookay jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

JACKSON wants to get up but he can't break Tookay's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Oh but Tookay is tightening it up a little... JACKSON has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! JACKSON reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! JACKSON taps out! nice BJJ there by Tookay!
