Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Christ (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelii Hale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Christ's entrance music is Everything in it's right place. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Christ shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hale as he jumps to the side. Christ shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Christ was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Christ is working for a guillotine from mount but Hale frees his head quite easily.
Hale really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Christ. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hale keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hale is squirming around, avoiding Christ's attempts to control the action. Hale is trying to stand. Christ moves to take his opponent's back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Christ looking for the choke from the back. Hale controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Will Christ go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Christ seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Hale's chin but Hale turns very nicely into Christ's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Hale.
Hale gets to his feet - Christ follows without any prompting. Christ shoots in but Hale avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hale scoring well with a low kick there.
Christ is breathing heavily. Hale loads up on a big right hand but Christ slips the punch. Christ throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hale was covering up waiting for the punch and Christ finishes the takedown easily into guard. Christ stops Hale from standing up. Hale trying to control the position.
Hale wants to stand but Christ is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Christ trying to control but Hale is working from the bottom. Hale has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Christ off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Christ shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hale defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesus Christ. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hale throws a looping overhand right but Christ ducks down to avoid it. Hale throws a low kick but Christ avoids it. Kelii Hale is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hale connects with a body shot. Hale dips to his left and cracks Christ with an uppercut! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Christ scores with a takedown into Hale's guard. Hale is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Hale tries to stand and escape but Christ is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Christ tries to get to full guard but Hale has control of the leg. Hale wants to stand up but Christ has a hold of him and won't allow it. Hale stands up from half guard. Jesus Christ seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Christ shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hale manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Christ pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hale is keeping the position for now. Hale trying to control the position.
Christ wants to pass the guard but Hale is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Christ is working hard here to advance position. Christ trying to control but Hale is working from the bottom. Christ stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hale swivels though and keeps the full guard. Christ thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hale pushes Christ off and gets back to his feet.
Hale is looking to clinch but Christ is avoiding it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hale will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hale throws a hook but Christ avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kelii Hale will probably get the nod. That's time! Christ's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Christ has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Christ closes the distance and clinches up with Hale, looking for a takedown. Christ pushes Hale against the cage but Hale circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Hale ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Christ moves away. Hale has managed to clinch.
Hale stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Hale unloads a knee to the mid-section. Christ lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Christ drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Christ jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hale walks away with a smile on his face. Christ gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesus Christ. That's going to take a lot out of him. Christ fails with the takedown. Christ fails with the takedown. Christ looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Hale misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Hale moves into the clinch. Christ is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hale gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hale content to slow the pace in the clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Christ has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hale avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Hale scores with a hook to the body. Hale lands a good knee to the midsection. Christ won't want to take too many of those. Christ takes a knee to the side of the body. The referee calls for Hale to work.
Christ is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hale gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Christ takes a knee right on the jaw!
Hale has Christ pushed against the cage. Christ tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hale smiles and moves away.
Hale leaves Christ with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Christ keeps the fight on the outside. A big right from Hale misses. Hale has closed the distance and engaged Christ in a clinch.

Hale lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Christ. Hale has Christ pushed against the cage. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Hale obliges. Christ is trying to trip Hale. He has hold of a leg but Hale is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Christ persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Christ drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hale manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Christ has Hale in his guard. Hale wanted to stand there but Christ had control of the position. Christ is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hale postures up.
Hale got a little sloppy there for a moment and Christ has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hale has managed to get both his arms back between Christ's legs - danger averted.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hale gets to his feet - Christ follows without any prompting. Hale tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Christ avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Hale swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Christ throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hale's waist but Hale gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Christ off to one side. Christ looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Hale is looking to escape. Christ working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Hale's thigh. Hale counters though and makes it back to full guard. Christ preventing the sweep. Christ wants to pass the guard but Hale is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hale looking to hit a scissor sweep but Christ is one step ahead there. Christ slips nicely into half guard. Hale is looking for a sweep. Christ is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Christ frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Hale wants to control but Christ is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kelii Hale showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Nice sprawl there from Hale as Christ shoots in. Christ tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hale sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Christ somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesus Christ. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fight stays on the outside here - Hale looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hale tries to clinch up. Christ tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hale swivels and escapes. Hale tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Christ paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hale misses with a two punch combination.

Christ seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hale does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Hale makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hale. Hale looking for a sweep. Not yet Hale, not yet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Hale throws a right and a left that Christ avoids nicely. Christ fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hale avoids it really well and circles away. Hale scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hale throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Christ. Hale defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Christ. Hale lands with a straight right. Christ didn't see that one coming. Christ shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hale pinned against the cage. Hale gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hale throws a quick inside leg kick. Hale lands a nice looking body shot.
Nice takedown defense from Hale. No joy for Christ on that attempt. Hale scores with a punch to the head. The fight moves into the clinch position. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Hale gets underhooks to prevent Christ's takedown attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Christ jumps guard but Hale stands there with Christ around his waist. Christ gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Hale is pressed up against the cage. Christ has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hale down to the mat. Hale avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Jesus Christ is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hale connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Christ on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Hale keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hale gets a clinch. Christ drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
