Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Roger Salavara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Don (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Don has chosen Eminem, Not Afraid as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Don swats away the attempt to clinch by Salavara.
Don blocks the body kick.
Salavara changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Don looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Don managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Salavara.
Salavara with the ground and pound but Don regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Salavara throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Salavara tries to score with a low kick but Don moves his leg out of the way.

Salavara throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Don avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Salavara shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Don as he jumps to the side.
Left hook, right uppercut from Don.

A head kick misses from Don.
Don fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Salavara avoids it really well and circles away.
Salavara scores with a hook to the body. Don takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Salavara motions for Don to come forward. Salavara throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Don is looking to clinch.
Salavara does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Salavara closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Salavara passes the guard and advances to mount!
Don slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Salavara swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Don counters with a series of strikes. Salavara will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Don counters with a head kick.
Salavara throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Don.
Salavara turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Salavara feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Salavara stands up over Don, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Salavara might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

and Don counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Salavara misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Don throws a nice looking combination but Salavara bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Salavara. Don shrugs it off though.

Don tries to pull guard but Salavara holds him up against the cage and eventually Don drops back down to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Salavara sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Salavara tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Don is able to avoid easily.

Salavara misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Salavara changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Don tries to avoid it but Salavara manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Don to the ground. Don escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Salavara throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Don's waist but Don gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Salavara off to one side.

and Salavara counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Salavara.

Don wants to clinch up but Salavara keeps it at a distance.

Don shoots for a double leg takedown but Salavara sprawls well. He's pushed Don's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
