Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bastian Bayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis has chosen Badda Den Dem as his entrance music. Dennis Davis told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bastian Bayer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Dennis Davis!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis throws a series of punches but Bayer moves out of range.
Bayer tries to land a front kick but Davis steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bayer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bayer clinches with his opponent.
Bayer's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Davis tries to break the clinch but Bayer is controlling the position.
Bayer fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bayer stalls.
Bayer is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bastian Bayer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bayer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Davis smiles and moves away.
Bayer looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Davis is fending him off so far but Bayer persists. Nope, Davis circles away and we're back to standing.
Davis connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bayer's hands.
Davis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bayer.
Davis tries a head kick but it misses.
Davis leaves Bayer with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Davis misses with a double jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bayer loses concentration momentarily and Davis pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Bayer crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Davis finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dennis Davis!
