The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machiavelli misses with a wild body shot.

Machiavelli cracks de la Fuente with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

Machiavelli swings for the body but de la Fuente moves out of range.

de la Fuente shoots in looking for a takedown. Machiavelli tries to sprawl out of it but de la Fuente keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Machiavelli manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
