Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Putin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buck Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Norris is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Six Feet Under - Lycanthropy. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putin avoids the body shot from Norris.
Norris throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Putin tries to score with a low kick but Norris moves his leg out of the way.
Norris getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Putin pivots, looking for a leg kick but Norris is out of range and Putin settles back down.
Putin keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Putin misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Norris counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Putin jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Putin with a lazy takedown attempt
and Norris counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Putin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Norris controls Putin momentarily but Putin frees himself.
Putin with a flurry of punches that miss.
Norris wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Putin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Norris is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Putin, into his guard.

Norris sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Putin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Norris gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Norris trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Norris slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Putin working for a triangle but Norris defends it easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Norris wanted to stand there but Putin had control of the position.

Norris got a little sloppy there for a moment and Putin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Norris has managed to get both his arms back between Putin's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Norris is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Norris's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Norris must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Putin controls Norris momentarily but Norris frees himself.
Norris wants to control from the top but Putin keeps moving.

Putin looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Norris passes into side control.
Norris is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Putin will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Norris has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Putin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Norris sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Putin somewhat.
Norris scores with the left hand. Putin knows he should have avoided that one.

Norris gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Putin to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Norris wants to sweep but no luck.
Norris is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Putin tries to free his leg and advance position but Norris is retaining full guard.

Norris not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Putin throws a big right hand that misses.
Norris keeping moving, preventing Putin from controlling successfully.
Putin is standing up over Norris. Norris looks to escape but Putin dives into side control.
Norris is looking to regain half guard here but Putin keeps moving and retains side control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Norris lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Putin circles away quickly and effectively.
Norris darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Putin takes one to the chin there.

Putin is rocked!
Putin thows a body shot but no joy.

Norris pivots, looking for a leg kick but Putin is out of range and Norris settles back down.
Nikolai Putin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Putin shoots for a takedown but Norris saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nikolai Putin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Putin takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Norris scoring well with a low kick there.
Norris works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Oh Putin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Norris lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Norris lands with a right and another and another! Putin is in big trouble! Norris lands again and this time it's lights out for Putin! A quality knockout there for Norris.
