Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pavel Dimitra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and d bitty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). d bitty told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Valeri Chadov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dimitra gets a takedown into half guard.

Dimitra seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down bitty for as long as he can get away with.
The fighters are battling for position here. bitty manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

bitty's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Dimitra wants to control the action but instead bitty gets a body lock and reverses into Dimitra's guard! Nice work!
bitty stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dimitra swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dimitra lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for bitty!
bitty is desperately trying to improve his position but Dimitra has a good base and remains in mount.

Dimitra tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
bitty is squirming around, avoiding Dimitra's attempts to control the action.
bitty avoids a series of strikes thrown by Dimitra.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

bitty might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dimitra kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dimitra, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
