The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Outlaw. That snapped Jackson's head back.
Outlaw displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jackson.
Jackson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Outlaw pinned against the cage. Outlaw gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

That was a close round but I would say that Buzz Outlaw will probably get the nod.

Good leg kick by Outlaw there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Jackson shoots in looking for a takedown. Outlaw tries to sprawl out of it but Jackson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Outlaw manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jackson is breathing heavily.
Jackson wants to clinch up but Outlaw keeps it at a distance.

Outlaw rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jackson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jackson takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Jackson takes a swing at Outlaw's ribcage but misses.
Donk. Outlaw catches Jackson right on the button with a cross.
Outlaw fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jackson.
Outlaw bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Crunch! Outlaw slams his shin into Jackson's torso.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jackson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Outlaw - the referee stops the clock and Jackson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Outlaw. Jackson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Outlaw, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
