Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Masakazu Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Suk Mehoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suk Mehoff will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mehoff keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Horrible takedown by Aoki or perhaps it was just good defense by Mehoff which made him look bad.
Mehoff scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Aoki walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Aoki drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Aoki tries to free his leg and advance position but Mehoff is retaining full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Aoki counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mehoff won't be happy with that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aoki wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mehoff keeps working.

Mehoff throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Aoki escapes and throws Mehoff's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Aoki tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Aoki has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The fighters circle momentarily. Mehoff darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Aoki feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Aoki could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Mehoff looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Aoki has picked Mehoff up and slammed him! Mehoff can't keep hold of the triangle and Aoki manages to pass to side control!
