Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andy Drum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zohan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Russell Pearce and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
shoots in for a takedown but Drum shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Drum, right into the meat.
Drum tries for a takedown but sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Drum has managed to clinch.
tries to pull guard but Drum won't allow it.

Drum jumps guard and drags to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Drum seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Drum working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Drum takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Drum jumps guard but stands there with Drum around his waist. Drum gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Drum, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
