The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruthman lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Hamilton Lundin has been cut.
Lundin throws a front kick aimed at Ruthman's knee but Ruthman avoids it well.
Ruthman tries to clinch up.
Ruthman throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ruthman throws a head kick that misses.
Lundin avoids the body shot from Ruthman.
Lundin fails in his attempt to clinch.

Ruthman lands a big head kick that sends Lundin tumbling to the mat! Ruthman takes a step backwards and waves Lundin back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Ruthman moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Ruthman throws a series of punches but Lundin avoids them all with ease.
Ruthman clinches up with Lundin and pushes him back against the cage.

Lundin wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Lundin is pressed up against the cage. Ruthman has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lundin down to the mat. Lundin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Reijo Ruthman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ruthman moves in looking to clinch but Lundin pushes him off.

Lundin walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The crowd cheers as Ruthman lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lundin doesn't seem phased though.
Ruthman lands with a hook. Lundin tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The cut above Hamilton Lundin's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Ruthman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lundin swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lundin takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Ruthman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Ruthman lands with an overhand left.
Hamilton Lundin's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Ruthman is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Ruthman stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Ruthman looks to land a combination. Lundin sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Ruthman tries to clinch up
and Lundin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ruthman's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ruthman uses the cage to get back to his feet.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ruthman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ruthman connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Ruthman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ruthman, as that shot connected.
Lundin blocks a jab.
Lundin tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Ruthman counters with a big head kick but Lundin shrugs it off.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hamilton Lundin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
