Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Stones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alistar Sylvia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frankie Stones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alistar Sylvia! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sylvia closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. It looks like Sylvia is going to stand back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stones wants to improve his position but Sylvia is controlling well.
Sylvia is working for a kimura but Stones is defending it quite comfortably.
Sylvia throws a strike but Stones avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Stones looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sylvia is one step ahead there. Stones wants to stand and escape but Sylvia is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sylvia would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Sylvia trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Sylvia gets a clinch. Sylvia drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Stones gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Stones manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Sylvia wants to pass the guard but Stones is keeping the position. Sylvia stops Stones from standing up. Stones working a defensive guard here.
Stones tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sylvia would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Stones is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Stones tries to stall but Sylvia uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Sylvia is trying to drag Stones to the mat but Stones just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Stones wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sylvia has him pressed against the cage. Sylvia pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sylvia checks a low kick from Stones. Stones gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sylvia counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Sylvia lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Stones backwards.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stones has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Sylvia regains guard immediately. Sylvia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sylvia wants to stand up but Stones is controlling him. Stones trying to control but Sylvia is working from the bottom. Sylvia wants to stand up but Stones is controlling him. Sylvia has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Stones has passed into side control.
Stones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sylvia keeps working.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Sylvia shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sylvia showed some decent athleticism there. Stones is looking for a sweep. Sylvia is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Alistar Sylvia will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Sylvia moves into the clinch. Sylvia gets underhooks to prevent Stones's takedown attempt.
Stones takes a knee to the side of the body. Sylvia gets control of Stones's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sylvia will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Stones trying to control the position from guard on top but Sylvia is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stones stands up from guard. Let's bang! Sylvia throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Stones. Sylvia changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sylvia looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Stones tries to buck Sylvia off but Sylvia is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sylvia wants to control for a moment but Stones uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Sylvia gets back to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Sylvia holds on and takes a little breather. Sylvia is striking from the bottom but Stones uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Stones wants to free his trapped foot but Sylvia is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Stones stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Sylvia to get to his feet. Stones gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sylvia to score an easy takedown into full guard. Sylvia trying to control but Stones is working from the bottom.

Stones wants to control the position but Sylvia says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Sylvia slows the pace down in half guard. Sylvia is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Stones manages to get to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Stones is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sylvia is controlling him. Sylvia postures up.
Stones tries to land a sweep but no joy. Stones keeping moving, preventing Sylvia from controlling successfully. Stones controls Sylvia momentarily but Sylvia frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alistar Sylvia showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Sylvia controls from within his opponent's guard. Sylvia tries to free his leg and advance position but Stones is retaining full guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Stones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sylvia manages to get himself to full guard.
Sylvia keeping moving, preventing Stones from controlling successfully. Stones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sylvia has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stones has managed to get both his arms back between Sylvia's legs - danger averted. Stones trying to control but Sylvia is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Alistar Sylvia comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sylvia has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
