Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiery Hogroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikhail Tokarev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hogroe comes to the cage accompanied by Put On. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tokarev shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hogroe as he avoids it easily.
Tokarev darts in and clinches Hogroe up against the cage.
Hogroe has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Hogroe breaks the clinch.
Hogroe tries a head kick but it misses.
Tokarev shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hogroe pinned against the cage. Hogroe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hogroe just misses with a punch to the body.
Hogroe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tokarev feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tokarev accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Tokarev wants to control from the top but Hogroe keeps moving.

and Tokarev counters with a shoot takedown. Hogroe fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tokarev postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hogroe is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tokarev, into his guard.

Tokarev looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hogroe has picked Tokarev up and slammed him! Tokarev can't keep hold of the triangle and Hogroe manages to pass to side control!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tokarev tries to buck Hogroe off but Hogroe is having none of it.
Hogroe decides to stand back up. Hogroe steps back and let's Tokarev get back to his feet.
Tokarev takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Hogroe got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tokarev has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hogroe has managed to get both his arms back between Tokarev's legs - danger averted.

Tokarev has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Hogroe is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Tokarev yanks on the arm and Hogroe is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Tokarev.
