Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sasake takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Ueyama tries to clinch but Sasake is having none of it.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Sasake gets a takedown into half guard.
Sasake is looking for a kimura but Ueyama is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sasake to get the leverage.
Sasake thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ueyama's head.
Sasake looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Sasake thows a huge punch but Ueyama dodges it nicely.

Sasake passes to full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ueyama defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Sasake.
Ueyama is squirming around, avoiding Sasake's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sasake controlling his opponent.
Sasake throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Ueyama has his hands clasped together but Sasake breaks the hold and Ueyama is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Sasake!
