Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

peterson gets caught flat footed, as skins shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
peterson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
skins not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
peterson wants to stand up but skins is controlling him.
skins wants to control from the top but peterson keeps moving.
peterson wants to sweep but no luck.
peterson looking to control.
peterson keeping moving, preventing skins from controlling successfully.
peterson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

skins bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

A frustrated look appears on peterson's face as he tries to break the clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

and skins counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by skins.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
peterson rolls, trying to escape but skins keeps control of the position.

and peterson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in skins's guard.
skins wants to stand but peterson is controlling the position.

skins has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes peterson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from skins.
skins lands a hook that snaps the head of peterson backwards.

The referee warns peterson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

I would just about give that final round to pete peterson.
Well skins has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
