Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Duggan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by The game. Duggan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. HOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jim Duggan! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson stuffs the takedown. Duggan shoots in for a takedown but Anderson shows good takedown defense. Anderson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Anderson instigates a clinch. Duggan prevents the takedown attempt.
Anderson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Anderson jumps into guard, dragging Duggan to the mat.
Duggan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Duggan wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving. Anderson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Duggan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Anderson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Duggan stopping the sweep attempt from Anderson. Anderson working for a triangle but Duggan defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duggan trying to control the position from guard on top but Anderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Anderson working for a triangle but Duggan defends it easily.
Duggan passes Anderson's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Anderson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Anderson misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Anderson actively working from the bottom here. Anderson is breathing heavily. Anderson is trying to control but can't.
Anderson is not content to let Duggan control the position. Duggan drops an elbow to the side of Anderson's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duggan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Anderson is just riding it out for now. Duggan eventually gives up the hold. Duggan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Anderson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Anderson is trying to stand.
Duggan tries to pass the half guard into mount. Anderson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Anderson tries to roll over but Duggan keeps him under control. Duggan lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Anderson trying to control here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duggan prevents Anderson from improving his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Duggan tries to clinch up and Anderson counters with a lovely shot to the body. Anderson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Duggan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Anderson won't be happy with that. Duggan has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Anderson is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Duggan yanks on the arm and Anderson is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Duggan.
