The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drummond stuffs the takedown.
Stanley has a takedown stuffed.
Drummond fails with an attempt to clinch.
Stanley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Stanley tries to close the distance and clinch up but Drummond swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Drummond closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Stanley is looking to improve his position.
Stanley slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stanley looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Stanley has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Drummond has passed into side control.
Stanley tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Drummond wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Drummond has hold of Stanley's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Stanley tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Drummond cranks the arm and Stanley screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Stanley, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
