Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marco Milani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Milani comes into the arena with Silicone Curitiba blaring out of the sound system. Wilson has chosen Gojira - Backbone as his entrance music. William Wilson acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, William Wilson! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Milani tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Wilson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Wilson misses with a looping right. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Milani drives through with a takedown into guard. Wilson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Milani drops back looking for a leg! Wilson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wilson manages to kick Milani off! Milani jumps back into Wilson's guard. Milani drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wilson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Milani has Wilson in his guard. That's one minute gone in the round. Milani is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Milani keeping moving, preventing Wilson from controlling successfully. Milani has his foot on Wilson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wilson works his way back into a safe position though. Wilson preventing the sweep. Milani pulls Wilson in to control the position. Milani controls Wilson momentarily but Wilson frees himself. Wilson postures up and lands a big shot to Milani's brow. Milani has gone for a leg lock! Wilson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Milani's guard. Milani bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Wilson trying to control but Milani is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Milani has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wilson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Wilson slips nicely into half guard. Milani blocking the ground and pound attempt from Wilson. Milani is looking to improve his position.

Milani is staying active underneath Wilson, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Milani is looking for a sweep. Wilson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Wilson is nestled in close to Milani, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Milani tries to get to full guard but Wilson has control of the leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but William Wilson will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Milani darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Milani prevents Wilson from improving his position. Milani is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wilson sees it coming and defends easily. Wilson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Milani. Milani seems to be working for a kimura but Wilson defends the submission attempt.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Milani tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wilson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Milani somewhat. Milani throws an overhand right that lands on Wilson's shoulder, as Wilson tries to avoid the shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Milani pushes Wilson up against the ropes in a clinch. Milani leaning his opponent against the ropes. Wilson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Milani checks a leg kick. Milani misses with a straight left. Wilson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Wilson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Milani misses with an uppercut. Wilson saw that one coming. Wilson scoring well with a low kick there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wilson throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Milani stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Wilson follows into mount!
Milani is rocked!
It looks like Marco Milani has been cut. Wilson connects with a bit shot that sees Milani covering up! More strikes from Wilson and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Wilson is our winner by TKO!
