The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stafjard fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Paulus avoids it really well and circles away.
Paulus is looking to clinch but Stafjard is avoiding it.
Stafjard shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Stafjard was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Paulus really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Stafjard working for a guillotine from mount but Paulus is in no mood to give up.
