The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by slice.
Rua connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
slice tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rua paws at him with a jab and circles away.
slice misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rua lands with a kick to the temple. slice shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
slice throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rua.
A combination from slice does no damage.
slice throws a series of punches but Rua moves out of range.
Rua uses good head movement to avoid the hook from slice.
slice rushes Rua and presses him up against the cage.
slice is looking to break free of the clinch but Rua has double underhooks.
Rua's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

slice drops Rua with a beautiful combination! Rua stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - slice is looking for the KO!

slice ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Rua out cold! The fight is over!
