Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kross Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Frederman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Gimme the Loot. Ronald Frederman has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kross Burns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ronald Frederman!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns avoids a kick to the body.
Ronald Frederman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burns avoids the head kick by Frederman.
Danga de danga de dang - Frederman scores with a four punch combination!
Frederman connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Frederman swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Burns.

Frederman gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Burns to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Burns throwing strikes from guard but Frederman blocks nicely.
Burns wanted to stand there but Frederman had control of the position.
Burns won't allow Frederman to sweep him here.
Burns lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Frederman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Burns's guard.
Burns is looking to stand up but Frederman isn't so interested in that idea.
Frederman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Burns. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fredermanis looking to pass into half guard but Burns pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Burns is in guard.
Burns postures up in Frederman's guard and throws a big left but Frederman blocks it.
Burns throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Frederman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Frederman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Frederman is on top in guard.

Frederman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Frederman trying to control the position from guard on top but Burns is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Frederman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Frederman is looking to work some ground and pound but Burns has wrist control.
Frederman passes into half guard.
Burns is trying to get back to full guard.
Burns is refusing to be controlled, as Frederman sits in half guard.
Frederman passes to side control.

Frederman has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Burns circles away from the clinch attempt.

Frederman instigates a clinch.
Frederman lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Burns or not.
Burns managing to block the knees to the body from Frederman.

Frederman breaks from the clinch.
Frederman thuds his right hand into Burns's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Burns takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Frederman tries to close the distance and clinch but Burns swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Frederman misses with a jab, cross combination.
Frederman lands with a nice combination. Burns backs away looking to recover.
Burns is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Frederman throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Ronald Frederman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Frederman throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
A head kick misses from Frederman.
Frederman displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Burns.
Burns is breathing heavily.
Frederman throws a right and a left that both miss.
Burns takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ronald Frederman dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Frederman feints and then cracks Burns's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Burns down.
The fight stays on the outside here - Burns looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Frederman gets the takedown into side control.
Frederman is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Burns's shoulder. That is not cool.

Frederman decides to stand back up. Frederman steps back and let's Burns get back to his feet.
Burns walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Frederman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Burns to the mat! Burns manages to get full guard.
Burns keeping moving, preventing Frederman from controlling successfully.

Burns escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Frederman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Frederman trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Burns manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Frederman is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Frederman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Burns is one step ahead there.
Frederman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Burns tries to kick Frederman off but Frederman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Frederman wants to pass to mount but Burns is defending the position.
Frederman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Burns keeps working.
Frederman lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Frederman is looking for a kimura but Burns is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Frederman to get the leverage.
Frederman tries to pass the half guard into mount. Burns knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Burns wants to control but Frederman is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Burns won't allow Frederman to pass to mount.
Frederman perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Burns won't allow Frederman to pass to mount.
Burns works his way to full guard. Good work.
Frederman trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Frederman thows a big elbow that misses.
Frederman looking to sit in guard and control but Burns gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Frederman wants to improve his position but instead Burns has moved into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Frederman is trying to control but can't.
Burns is looking to take a break and control but Frederman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Frederman is trying to get back to full guard.
Burns not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Frederman doesn't manage to clinch there - Burns circles away.
Frederman tries to close the distance and clinch but Burns swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ronald Frederman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Burns's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Frederman tries to clinch but Burns moves out of range.
Burns takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
A right-left combo lands from Frederman.
Burns misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nice sprawl there from Frederman as Burns shoots in.
Frederman scores with a crisp jab that stopped Burns in his tracks.
Frederman lands a nice hook to Burns's body. Burns takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Frederman uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Burns has time to react.
Burns on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Frederman throws a one two combo.
Frederman lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Burns backs up against the cage.
Burns shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Frederman as he avoids it easily.

Burns has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Burns drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Frederman closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Frederman lands a jab-cross combination.
Frederman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Burns closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Frederman closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Frederman lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Burns or not.

The referee is keeping an eye on Frederman - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Frederman lands a good knee to the midsection. Burns won't want to take too many of those.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Frederman obliges.

Frederman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Frederman lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Ronald Frederman is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ronald Frederman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Frederman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
