The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vargen is looking to clinch but King is avoiding it.
Vargen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping King at a distance.
King gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Vargen scores with a body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
King takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
King is breathing heavily.

Vargen drops King with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but King looks back up at him and smiles so Vargen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

King is rocked!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Vargen has cracked King with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Vargen lands another huge swinging hook and King tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save King, before Vargen can land any more shots!
