Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Three Monts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Oxbigg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mike Oxbigg was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Three Monts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Oxbigg! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Monts shoots in but Oxbigg avoids the takedown attempt easily. Oxbigg doesn't succeed with the takedown and Monts holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Oxbigg tries to pull guard but Monts holds him up against the cage and eventually Oxbigg drops back down to his feet.
Oxbigg jumps guard but Monts stands there with Oxbigg around his waist. Oxbigg gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Three Monts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Oxbigg. Oxbigg breaks the clinch.
Monts tries for a takedown but Oxbigg circles away easily and Oxbigg counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Monts jumps guard.
Oxbigg wants to control from the top but Monts keeps moving. Monts manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Oxbigg wants to hold on but Monts pushes him away. Monts dominating with strikes here. Oxbigg is looking to improve his position but Monts isn't that keen on the idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Monts moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Oxbigg has worked his arm free - good work by Oxbigg!
You can see the frustration on Oxbigg's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Monts is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Oxbigg knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Oxbigg is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Monts off and has taken his back! Oxbigg lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. You can see the frustration on Monts's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Monts is working hard here to advance position. Monts preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Oxbigg. Monts is covering up but some of the strikes from Oxbigg are getting through and doing damage.
Oxbigg controlling well, preventing Monts from escaping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Monts takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Monts rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Monts is breathing heavily. Oxbigg wants to pass the guard but Monts is defending well. Oxbigg blocks the strikes from Monts.
Monts is defending against the submission attempts here by Oxbigg.
Oxbigg wants to stand but Monts has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Monts is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Monts looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Oxbigg is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Monts has his takedown stuffed and Oxbigg counters with a thumping low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oxbigg looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Monts! Monts is working to get back to half guard.
Monts regains half guard. Monts looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Monts gets back to full guard.
Monts looking for a sweep. Not yet Monts, not yet. Monts escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Oxbigg gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Monts is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Oxbigg must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Monts thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Monts looking to hit a scissor sweep but Oxbigg is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Monts scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.
Monts is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Monts working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Oxbigg doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oxbigg manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Oxbigg lands a couple of decent looking shots. Oxbigg lands a couple of decent looking shots. Oxbigg not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Oxbigg gets to his feet - Monts follows without any prompting. Monts stuffs the takedown attempt from Oxbigg. Oxbigg gets slowly back to his feet. Oxbigg feints and as Monts raises his hands in defense, Oxbigg changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Oxbigg trying to control but Monts is working from the bottom. Monts is looking for a triangle but Oxbigg pushes his legs off easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Three Monts will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Monts looking for a sweep. Not yet Monts, not yet. Monts throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.
Monts manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Monts working Oxbigg over with strikes here. Oxbigg taking shots to the head. Oxbigg is in a horrible position here. Monts smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Oxbigg is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Monts working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Oxbigg looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Monts! Submission of the night perhaps?
