The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heski is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Heski closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Heski seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Willington does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Willington isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Heski stacks Willington on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Heski!

Willington stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Heski swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Heski tries to close the distance and clinch up but Willington swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Heski does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Heski moves in looking to clinch but Willington pushes him off.

The fight stays on the outside here - Heski looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Heski lands a left and a right that send Willington crashing to the mat, dazed. Heski thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Darren Willington has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Heski connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Willington tumbling to the canvas! Heski pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Willington was done - good stoppage!
