Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jackie Chan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adrian Patricio!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Chan.
Patricio shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Chan is trying to get back to full guard.
Patricio takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Patricio seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chan is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Patricio can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That was a close round but I would say that Jackie Chan will probably get the nod.

Patricio tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chan swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Chan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Chan thows a huge punch but Patricio dodges it nicely.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Patricio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Chan is trying to control the action in half guard but Patricio is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Adrian Patricio showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Chan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Patricio is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Chan kicks Patricio off and gets to his feet.
Patricio shoots for a double leg takedown but Chan sprawls well. He's pushed Patricio's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee is keeping an eye on Patricio - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Chan breaks the clinch.
Patricio closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Chan to the mat! Chan manages to get full guard.
Patricio wants to stand and escape but instead Chan has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Chan throws a big right hand that misses.
Patricio keeping moving, preventing Chan from controlling successfully.

Patricio swings around for an armbar but Chan sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Patricio's guard.
Chan is looking to work some ground and pound but Patricio has wrist control.

Adrian Patricio comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Patricio has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
