Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yoshihiro Akiyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Saburo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akiyama's entrance music is Time to Say Goodbye. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akiyama shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Saburo but Saburo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Saburo looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Saburo misses with the combination.
Akiyama closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Saburo is looking to control Akiyama's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Saburo avoid being mounted?
Akiyama lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Akiyama is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Akiyama moves into full mount! Saburo won't be happy about that!
Akiyama postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Saburo looks a forlorn figure.

Akiyama lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Akiyama is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Saburo is surviving well by controlling Akiyama's body position as best he can.
Akiyama jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Saburo is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Saburo and Akiyama has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Akiyama is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Saburo is trying to escape and Akiyama transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Saburo is forced to tap! Nice work there by Akiyama! Very nice indeed!
