The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fedro steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from VALERIO. That one must have hurt.
Fedro looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fedro stuffs the takedown attempt from VALERIO. VALERIO gets slowly back to his feet.
VALERIO moves in looking to clinch but Fedro pushes him off.
VALERIO misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
VALERIO tries to close the distance and clinch but Fedro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fedro throws a sloppy head kick and VALERIO moves out of range easily.
VALERIO tries to clinch there but Fedro circles away.
VALERIO is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fedro sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

VALERIO jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fedro walks away with a smile on his face. VALERIO gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Fedro shoots for a double leg takedown but VALERIO sprawls well. He's pushed Fedro's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
