The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ahmadzai tries to clinch up but Redman circles away and keeps his distance. Ahmadzai will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Redman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ahmadzai as he avoids it easily. Ahmadzai shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Redman counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Ahmadzai trying to control here.
Redman wants to work for an arm triangle but Ahmadzai is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Redman in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Ahmadzai tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Redman!
